A Levi's store in japan, received a gracious greeting from the Levis archivist Lynn Downey, who brought one of the very first created pairs of 501s labeled "XX", to be displayed at the store. As you can see in the video these handcrafted jeans, although created in the late 1870s, the style still resembles the modern day classic 501 jean, and the materials as well as methods have remained intact. A definite must see for any Levi's lovers out there.
